Pre Register

We build this to make it easier to get the customer phone number if you're not making use of the Customer Access Point feature. This process is fairly simple as it eliminates having to retrieve their phone number by talking or texting.

Setup requirements

  • Enable Pre register in the dashboard
    1. In the dashboard go to Pre register and it will prompt you to enable this feature
    2. After its activated, A link will be available to copy
  • Use the Staff App or Web Staff App

How does it work

  1. When the customer arrives to be helped by the staff or the service desk, We recommend you to place a small card where the customer can scan a QR code to visit the link you received in your dashboard.
  2. The customer fills in their phone number on the webpage and they receive a QR code. They need to show this QR code to the staff.
  3. The staff scans the QR code and can start proceeding with the ticket creation
    1. If the customer did close the page or lost it, In the staff app you can manually select the correct entry by asking the phone number (this still eliminates typing their phone number)
