How the ticket arrives
SMS is the default
The moment the coat is checked, the guest gets a text with a link and a short pickup code. Any phone that can receive a message can pick the coat up. Nothing to install.
The app, when they have it
A guest who already uses CoatCheck shows their code. Staff scan it, and the ticket lands in the app instead of a text. Pickup is the ticket on their phone.
Staff redeem either one
The link, the pickup code, and the app QR all open the same ticket. The counter does not care which way it was delivered.
